In the Hangar: Meet Our New Board Members!

Angel Flight West is proud to welcome two new board members to our team: Daniel Cheung and Emily Deaton. Both Daniel and Emily join AFW’s Board of Directors with a wealth of knowledge, expertise, and passion for charitable aviation. We’re thrilled to have them serve as we continue to deliver health and hope throughout the Western states.

 
Daniel Cheung is a CPA and he co founded Aviation Tax Consultants LLC in 2003 Born and raised in Hong Kong he became a naturalized Hoosier when he graduated from Indiana University with a degree in Accounting in 1989 Daniel is a frequent speaker at aviation events and conferences and a regular contributor to aviation related journals
 
As the Chief Executive Officer for jetAVIVA Emily Weber Deaton leads one of the largest private jet sales organizations in the world as measured by total annual transaction volume Deaton joined jetAVIVA in early 2019 and helped to lead jetAVIVA to two record breaking sales years in 2020 and 2021 Prior to joining jetAVIVA Deaton held leadership positions in CRM Strategy and Customer Experience at Embraer Executive Jets She holds a bachelors degree in public relations from the University of Florida Gainesville and is active in the International Aviation Womens Association and National Business Aviation Association
